Bio
Nick Thomm is an Australian-born multidisciplinary artist known for large scale, hyper-colour paintings, digital projections and mixed media collages. His works often seek to bring together the technological and the traditional – with hypnotic and mesmerising results. Originally trained as a graphic designer, Thomm’s early work was largely digital, but he now works across a range of mediums, with a particular emphasis on materials such as acrylic, lacquer, resin and ink.
The artist has exhibited worldwide, including at the New Museum in New York, the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia, and Moco Museum in Barcelona. Thomm has also taken part in a number of high-profile cultural collaborations: creating artwork for Louis, Vuitton and Tiffany & Co and a digital mural on Oxford Street in London, as well as designing a supercar for McLaren and handpainting a mural in the LA home of Miley Cyrus. Thomm is based in LA with a second studio in Melbourne, Australia.
