Grant Levy-Lucero venerates a Mexican icon with an edition of hand-painted vases.
The brand logos that emblazon Levy Lucero’s ceramics are a nod to modern consumer culture. Much like the ceramics painted with myths and gods by Levy-Lucero's ancient predecessors, they embody the spirit of our time and place. The edition of 25 glazed ceramic sculptures re-imagines the logo of popular Mexican candy, de la Rosa – an ode to Guadalajara where the artist hand painted each vase.
